PingKit ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

                Summary: PingKit is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All network diagnostics are performed locally on your device.
            

Information We Do Not Collect

PingKit does not collect:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Network scan results or diagnostic data
Device identifiers for tracking purposes
Usage analytics or behavioral data

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Diagnostic History: Results from ping, traceroute, and other network tests are saved locally for your reference. This data never leaves your device.
Saved Devices: Wake-on-LAN device configurations (MAC addresses, names) are stored locally on your device.
Purchase Status: Your in-app purchase status is managed by Apple and stored securely on your device.

You can delete this local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Third-Party Services

In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Crash Reporting

PingKit uses Apple's built-in crash reporting through Xcode Organizer. Crash reports are collected automatically by Apple for App Store and TestFlight builds and contain only technical diagnostic data (stack traces, device model, OS version). No personal information or network diagnostic results are included. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles this data.

Network Operations

PingKit performs network diagnostic operations (ping, port scanning, DNS lookups, etc.) directly from your device. These operations:

Are performed locally on your device
Connect directly to the hosts you specify
Do not route through our servers
Are not logged or monitored by us

Children's Privacy

PingKit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
