                Summary: PingKit is a network diagnostics tool for personal use. You may only use it on networks you own or have explicit permission to test. Misuse of network scanning tools may violate laws in your jurisdiction.

By accessing or using PingKit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

DNS lookups
SSL certificate inspection
Wake-on-LAN functionality

These tools are intended for legitimate network troubleshooting and diagnostics purposes only.

3. Permitted Use

You may use PingKit to:

Diagnose and troubleshoot your own home or business networks
Test networks for which you have explicit written authorization
Learn about networking concepts in controlled environments you control
Verify your internet service provider's performance

4. Prohibited Uses

Important: Unauthorized network scanning may be illegal in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this App complies with all applicable laws.

You agree NOT to use PingKit to:

Scan, probe, or test any network without explicit authorization from the network owner
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data
Conduct any form of network attack, including denial of service
Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy rights
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the App's rate limiting features
Use the App for any commercial penetration testing without proper licensing and authorization
Interfere with or disrupt networks, servers, or connected devices

5. Rate Limiting

The App includes rate limiting features designed to prevent abuse and ensure responsible use. These limits restrict the frequency and volume of network operations. Attempting to bypass these limits is a violation of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, features, and content, is owned by PingKit and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases, including the "PingKit Pro" upgrade. All purchases are:

Processed by Apple through the App Store
Subject to Apple's terms and conditions
Non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies

8. Third-Party Services

The App may include third-party services such as:

Apple Services: App Store, StoreKit, crash reporting, and other Apple frameworks, subject to Apple's Terms

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Accuracy or reliability of network diagnostic results
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement of third-party rights

Network conditions, device limitations, and other factors may affect the accuracy of diagnostic results. Results should be used for informational purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINGKIT AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to networks
Any legal consequences arising from misuse of the App

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PingKit, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable laws
Your infringement of any third-party rights

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
